1. Programme Manager

20 hours per week  Salary: Negotiable, around £31,000 FTE Pension contribution 3%

Are you passionate about the environment. Could you lead and support a dedicated team of staff working on diverse but interlinked projects? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced manager provide leadership and the overall framework for delivery of a variety of exciting and innovative environmental projects.

You will have a proven track record of programme and project management experience together with a keen understanding of natural conservation, active travel and access to greenspaces. You will be supported by volunteer Directors and a skilled team of dedicated staff with an office base in Huddersfield, satellite projects throughout Kirklees and opportunities for flexible working.

2. Active Travel Coordinator

37.5 hours per week Salary £29,000 Pension contribution 3%

We are seeking a full-time Active Travel Co-ordinator based in Huddersfield to oversee a busy and varied schedule of activity that will lead to behavioural change in active travel in Kirklees. You will be an enthusiastic and organised advocate for active travel, who enjoys working alongside partners and the public. The post is initially funded for 11 months, 37.5 hours per week with opportunity to extend the contract dependent on funding.  Based in Huddersfield at the Media Centre, a fully serviced and accessible office, with additional centres in the Holmfirth and Batley areas.

3.EPIKS Active Travel Engagement Officer Batley and Spen Valley

22.5 hours per week Salary £27,500 Pro rata FTE

We are developing a Walk Wheel Ride Community Active Travel Hub in Batley and Spen Valley, where people of all ages and abilities are supported to walk, wheel and cycle more for the sake of their wellbeing and lowering their impact on the environment.

We are seeking a new team member to coordinate engagement and activities at community venues across the area. Your role will be to create and coordinate events that give people the information, skills and confidence to build active travel into their daily lives.   Working in partnership with local groups, employers and colleagues under the umbrella of Walk Wheel Ride Kirklees, you will be a practical, outgoing individual who has experience in running events, managing budgets and resources and fostering behavioural change.
