We’re delighted to announce that EPIKS has been shortlisted for the BBC Make a Difference Awards 2026 in the Environmental Award category.
With more than 350 nominations received, we’re incredibly proud to be one of just four finalists recognised for making a positive impact on the environment and our local communities.
As part of the awards, EPIKS Director Jeff Kaye recently spoke to BBC Radio Leeds about the organisation’s work and what this nomination means. The interview highlights our commitment to improving spaces for nature, encouraging active travel, and working alongside local communities to create lasting environmental change.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 12 September, and we’re keeping everything crossed!
