Here’s a sneak peek at something the Active Travel team are working on that we’d love your thoughts about. We’re creating a series of short videos mapping cycle routes in Huddersfield and the first one, ‘Huddersfield Railway Station to the Accu Stadium’, is ready. We’re making the videos in response to comments gathered from feedback on our Walk Wheel Ride Huddersfield digital engagement tool on Commonplace .
One of the most frequent comments gathered from the feedback is the need for better route information and clearer maps. Confidence and familiarity, particularly when navigating to or from the town centre, were cited as key barriers.
