EPIKS (Environment Projects in Kirklees) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated environmental ranger to support, recruit and develop volunteers who want to improve the local environment. You will organise volunteer activities, manage wildlife habitats, provide training and support, and help build relationships with community groups and employers.

EPIKS (Environment Kirklees Ltd) is a not-for-profit organisation based in Huddersfield. We work with local communities, businesses and organisations to improve the environment across Kirklees.

Hours: The role is contracted for 7.5 hours per week. Additional paid hours may be
available depending on project requirements. Some evening, weekend or bank holiday work
may occasionally be required, with advance notice wherever possible.
Salary: £30,000 – £32,175 per annum (based on a 37.5-hour full-time week) dependent on
experience (£15.38 – £16.50 per hour).
