EPIKS is inviting businesses to take part in volunteering taster days on Wednesdays in December from 10am – 12noon. We will be working at sites that are accessible to the general public to see wildlife, get fit and enhance their wellbeing. Activities include path clearance, litter removal and habitat management. Risk assessments and tools will be provided.
The sessions will give volunteers an overview of the kind of work that EPIKS does, how we include the community and the impact that our work has on people and wildlife in the area. We hope that it will inspire businesses to join us for more volunteering sessions, making a direct improvement to Huddersfield environment and quality of life for people living and visiting the area.
