Jeff Keenleyside, EPIKS Director said,” People often tell us they are concerned about the environment and loss of nature but don’t know enough about it and don’t know where to start. Being aware of what is on our doorsteps and how to take care of it is crucial to community cohesion and wellbeing.
In Huddersfield we are lucky to have an amazing array of natural wildlife and lots of beautiful spots, including many hidden gems! On our Walks for Wildlife we want to show more people those special places, the many plants and creatures we share them with and inspire them to take action for wildlife in their local area.”
